This Privacy Policy explains what information Girlfriend Mod for Minecraft (the “App”), operated by the developer of Girlfriend Mod for Minecraft (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About the App
The App lets you browse and import add-ons, skins and related content (“Mods”) into Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. The App does not require an account, registration, name, e-mail address or phone number, and we never ask for them.
Not an official Minecraft product. The App is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Mojang AB, Microsoft Corporation, or Minecraft. “Minecraft” is a trademark of Mojang AB.
2. Information We Collect
a) Collected automatically from your device
- Pseudonymous device identifiers — a device identifier provided by Android (such as the Android app set / Android ID) and a random installation identifier generated by the App. These are numbers/strings that identify a device or installation; they are not your name and we cannot identify you personally from them.
- Device & app information — device model, operating-system version, platform, and App version.
- Usage data — app opens (sessions), which Mods are downloaded/imported, search terms typed into the App's search box, which advertisement formats were displayed, and the star rating you optionally submit in the in-app “rate this app” dialog.
- Problem reports — if you report a broken or inappropriate Mod, we receive the reason you select, the optional message you type, and your device identifier.
b) Stored only on your device (never sent to us)
- Your favourites list, your premium/ad-free status, and local App preferences.
c) What we do NOT collect
- No name, e-mail address, phone number, or contact-book access;
- No precise location (GPS) data;
- No photos, media, files, camera, or microphone access;
- No passwords or payment-card details (any purchase is processed entirely by Google Play).
3. How We Use Information
- To operate the App: deliver the Mod catalogue, download files, and remember configuration;
- To measure and improve the App: installs, daily active usage, popular Mods and searches guide what content we add;
- To show and frequency-cap advertising (see Section 4) and measure ad performance in aggregate;
- To review problem reports and remove broken or inappropriate content;
- To read app-rating feedback;
- To prevent abuse of our services (rate-limiting, spam and fraud protection).
We do not use your information for any form of profiling with legal effects, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
4. Advertising & Google AdMob
The App is free and is funded by advertising served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob and its certified ad partners may collect and process data — including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and coarse (city-level) location derived from IP — to serve, limit, measure, and (where permitted) personalise ads.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we display Google's certified consent dialog (UMP) before ads are initialised. You may refuse personalised advertising; the App then requests non-personalised ads only.
- We configure ads with a family-safe maximum content rating.
- You can opt out of ad personalisation at any time in Android settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID / opt out of ads personalisation.

5. How We Share & Disclose Information
We share information only with the service providers that make the App work, each acting under its own privacy policy and, where applicable, as our processor:
- Google AdMob (Google LLC) — advertising (Section 4);
- MongoDB Atlas (MongoDB, Inc.) — hosted database where the usage data in Section 2(a) is stored;
- Cloudinary (Cloudinary Ltd.) — content-delivery network that hosts Mod files and images; when your device downloads content, Cloudinary's servers receive your IP address as part of the normal web request;
- Vercel (Vercel Inc.) — hosting for our servers; server logs may transiently include IP addresses;
- Google Play (Google LLC) — app distribution and, if offered, in-app purchases. We never see your payment details.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of users or the public. If the App is ever transferred in a merger or sale, information may transfer with it under the same protections.
6. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK)
- Legitimate interests — operating, securing and improving a free app (usage analytics, abuse prevention, non-personalised advertising);
- Consent — personalised advertising in regions where consent is required (via the Google UMP dialog);
- Legal obligation — where retention or disclosure is required by law.
7. Data Retention
- Aggregated daily statistics (downloads, sessions, searches, ad counts) — retained up to approximately 13 months, then deleted;
- Device records, ratings and problem reports — retained while the App is operated, or until you request deletion;
- Data held by Google AdMob is retained under Google's own policies.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is designed to be family-friendly. We do not knowingly collect personal information (such as names or contact details) from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) — the App has no accounts, chat, or free-text profile fields. Advertising is configured with a family-safe maximum ad-content rating, and ads are served by Google, a certified ad network. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us (for example inside a problem-report message), contact us at zalak.upgrade@gmail.com and we will delete it.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent.
- How to exercise them: e-mail zalak.upgrade@gmail.com from any address and include your device identifier if known (or describe your device and approximate install date so we can locate the record). We respond within 30 days;
- Deletion without contacting us: uninstalling the App stops all collection; you may additionally reset or delete your device's advertising ID in Android settings;
- California: we do not sell or “share” (for cross-context behavioural advertising by us) personal information; we honour deletion and access requests as above;
- You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10. Security
All traffic between the App and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS. Data is stored in access-controlled databases with credentialed access limited to the operator. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate measures to protect the limited, pseudonymous data we hold.
11. International Data Transfers
Our service providers (Section 5) may store and process data in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.
12. Third-Party Content, Mods & Links
Mods are community-style game content. The App may link to third-party sites and apps (for example the Google Play listing for Minecraft). Those services have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The App and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Girlfriend Mod for Minecraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, game saves, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App, any Mod, or these documents. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the App in the twelve months before the claim (typically zero for a free app). Full terms, including indemnification and governing law, are in our Terms of Service.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above always shows the current version's date, and material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
